Hola guapas,

There are Greek summers, there are Italian summers, and then there’s Menorca.

An island that never feels the need to prove itself. It’s quieter than its neighbours, a little wilder, and all the more charming for it. The kind of place where you arrive thinking you’ll stay for a long weekend and leave wondering if perhaps you should buy a little white house instead.

You feel it before you’ve even landed. As the plane dips over the coastline, sailboats drift lazily across impossibly turquoise water and, almost instantly, your shoulders drop a little. The island has that effect on people.

Days are spent hopping between hidden coves and long lunches that somehow become dinner. White windmills watch over dry stone walls, the fish is as fresh as it gets, and tucked between it all is some of the best contemporary art I’ve found on any Mediterranean island. (If you only do one thing, make it Hauser & Wirth.)

And then there’s the wardrobe. Menorca doesn’t reward trying too hard. It isn’t the island for sky-high heels or the loudest look in the room. It rewards personality instead—the pieces that feel effortless, a little sun-faded, and entirely like you.

Here’s everything I’d pack for a Spanish summer in Menorca.

For Mahón’s galleries and an afternoon at Hauser & Wirth, something a little more considered. And a book, of course - there's always time for one on the island. (Stay for lunch or dinner at Cantina, right there on Illa del Rei.)

This look includes a Destree top, this striped skirt , straw top-handle bag, drop earrings and gold thong sandals.

For the coves, a kaftan thrown straight over swimwear does all the work.

This look features an embroidered kaftan, the Lido bikini, canvas tote, Gucci sunglasses, a Sarong and Ludo toe ring sandals. For that aftersun glow use this Sensai cream.
