I promised myself I’d replace my fall to-do list with a list of friends I’m eager to spend time with. I don’t love the pressure of feeling like I need to get everything before I enjoy myself, but the truth is, I live and die by my Notion board, and everything is pretty organized. I think a few things would slip through the cracks without it.
All of this to say, fall is going to be pretty wild. It’s my first fall as a mom, and I’m excited to juggle my deep desire to fill our home with the cozy smell of cookies (even though she’s only a few months old, she’ll appreciate it when she’s older) with cranking out stories while my daughter is sleeping.
I have big plans for the fall, but before summer is officially over, I’m ending August with some quality time with my mom and daughter, then kicking off September with wild lunch plans with the new RHONY cast 👀 (more on that soon). I also have one, maybe two, Europe trips planned for the fall — Zoë is joining me on both, of course — so I can confidently say that being a mom has not slowed me down at all, and I feel really good about it.
I spent last fall nauseous, exhausted, pregnant and in bed, so I’m ready for my comeback tour. In this newsletter: A list of the new restaurants at the top of my list, my back-to-school shopping list, which includes a $100 fall jacket I’m in love with, and my fall reading list.
I’ve done my research, and these are the new restaurants I’m eager to try this fall. Brought to you by lots of digging and trust in chefs with impressive credentials.
