The Skies Will be Blue Again

It’s not the size of a country that makes you free - it’s how a country is governed. Do we the people have freedom of speech, freedom of expression and freedom of the right of self-determination? Frankly we don’t believe so. That’s why we chose to take action, a certain type of action to hold the Government accountable and wrote a petition. We chose the petition for the following reasons:

• Support the US EPA Petition filed a few weeks back

• Request government accountability – Ask for investigations, transparency, or changes in government decisions

• Protect the environment – Support public health, wildlife protection, visibility and pollution reduction.

Although the petition process is in place in Canada it’s not as easy and straight forward as in the US. In Canada you cannot directly registered mail a document to a Government Body. We first must find an MP (MPP) to endorse or okay this petition before it gets published on the Govt’s website. Above and beyond we also need a minimum of 25 public signatures.

The Canadian Government does not make it easy to make our voices heard. Welcome to Communist Canada!

We are aware that there’s other actions you can take but in our case we are not ‘attacking’ the Airline industry or any particular CEO.
We're going to one source, and we hope that by working together with the United States, we can make a real difference and see blue skies again.

This document took us very many hours plus years of research. We hope that our hard work will pay off and we will see the changes and regulations we request. Believe us, we would have used ‘demand’ but in order to get through to them we decided to take the polite Canadian road.

What we don’t want:

• ground flights or make you ‘stay home’

• put anyone in fear

What we do want:

• look up without fear

• research and think critically
