Donkey Day Christmas is the annual fundraiser for The Human-Animal Connection, bringing rescue donkeys, therapy donkeys, and happy donkeys to the public to celebrate healing. Donkeys have not always been treated well by humans, and yet they are still ready, willing, and able to love and forgive.
I could tell you what it was like when 865 people came to feel the love, but I think these pictures have more power than my words. Here are Rosie and Lilly, our two miniature Therapy Donkeys.
