Dear Esteemed Community Member/Stakeholder,

The first quarter of 2026 has been a period of strong growth, strategic positioning, and ecosystem expansion for Genesys Foundation. We have deepened our commitment to youth development through talent acceleration, partnerships, and community engagement.

Genesys Learnable

  • We onboarded 362 participants into the Genesys Learnable Program. The program is currently ongoing and progressing successfully, with strong engagement across all tracks.

  • Mentorship Growth - We onboarded 260 mentors, moving significantly closer to achieving our 1:1 mentor-to-mentee ratio, a key pillar for quality learning outcomes.

  • Curriculum Expansion - Introduced 3 new learning tracks to meet evolving industry demands:

    • Project Management

    • Game Development

    • Cybersecurity

Genesys Academy (Physical Program)

  • Successfully onboarded 14 students into the Academy. The program continues to run smoothly with in-person, hands-on learning.

Program Sponsorship

We partnered with ecosystem enthusiasts to sponsor 125 talents into our programs. These partners include Studio X, Tabi Academy, Enugu North LGA, Nexascale, SoundRig, Contestify and more

Creation of The Genesys Network Scholarship Scheme

We created our in-house scholarship scheme, which consists of alumni, staff and the internal stakeholders of Genesys Foundation. We started by sponsoring 52 people into the current Genesys Learnable cohort.

Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP)

Selected as a Host Organisation, enabling us to support young graduates with real-world work experience.

Project BLAST Retreat (by Tenece Holdings Limited)

Participated in a strategic retreat focused on building institutions that scale beyond individualism, which aligns with our long-term vision by positioning us to thrive.

3MTT Partner Network & Showcase (Lagos)

Engaged with national stakeholders and partners to strengthen collaboration within Nigeria’s digital talent ecosystem.

GATEWAY Program (Mastercard Foundation x CcHUB)

Selected as a Partner Hub, positioning Genesys as a key player in driving access to digital opportunities at scale.

Enugu Tech Fest

Participated as a partner, reinforcing our visibility and commitment to regional tech ecosystem development.

Enugu Campus Hackathon (with Enugu SME Centre)

Successfully implemented a campus-focused hackathon, fostering innovation and problem-solving among students.

GDG Enugu Sponsorship

Supported the developer ecosystem as a Silicon Sponsor, strengthening ties with the tech community.

Genesys Community Engagement

Hosted multiple Twitter Spaces sessions, engaging our community and broader tech ecosystem in conversations around growth, opportunities, and industry trends.

TechNova Summit Partner

We sponsored attendees into our training programs through our partnership with the TechNova Summit.

This quarter reflected a deliberate implementation of some of our goals for the year. Amongst others, we are able to:

  • Strengthen our role as a talent pipeline hub

  • Expand our influence through strategic partnerships

  • Build a more structured and scalable learning model

  • Deepen engagement across campuses and tech communities

In the coming quarter, our focus will be on:

  • Driving completion and outcomes for current learners in our programs

  • Expanding national

    and international partnerships

  • Increasing community visibility and engagement

  • Implementing tailored alumni engagement
