On the terraces: Dresden open K-Block but ban vloggers, Gladbach fans protest against stadium name, no Frankenderby choreos

SG Dynamo Dresden’s first home game of the season went ahead in front of a full K-Block on Sunday after a terrace closure imposed following rioting against Hertha BSC last season was postponed. The ultras may have been back as usual but another sort of “fan” has been banned from the Rudolf-Harbig-Stadion: vloggers. Elsewhere in the 2. Bundesliga, there were big local derbies as 1. FC Kaiserslautern hosted Karlsruher SC and 1. FC Nürnberg made the short trip to SpVgg Fürth – but only one game featured a choreography in the stands following complaints of provocative policing. Our Choreo of the Week, however, can only come from Arminia Bielefeld. Finally, Bundesliga clubs are making their final preparations ahead of the season, but protests have already erupted at Borussia Mönchengladbach.
