Can I be honest with you?
Technically... every event in this guide exists somewhere online. You don’t have to pay to find them. Or do you?
Because there is a cost. It’s just usually paid in time.
Facebook. Instagram. Community calendars. Business websites. Newsletters. Google searches. Twenty-seven tabs you swear you’ll come back to later.
Every week I trade my time to pull it all together because, I genuinely love compiling information. In return, I ask for a little something to make that trade worth it not just for me, but for my family too.
So thank you to everyone who sees the value in this resource and supports what I’m building. It truly means a lot.
Now... Montana summer is showing absolutely no signs of slowing down.
Farmers markets. Rodeos. Outdoor concerts. Community theatre. Storytimes. Pop-up events. Family activities.
If this week’s lineup feels familiar, that’s because summer has officially hit its stride. Many of our favorite events are back in different locations with different organizations, plus... it’s FAIR WEEK!
I’ll admit it, the fair has become a little less appealing to me over the years. But every year I watch families make incredible memories there, so I’d be doing you a disservice if I didn’t highlight it. The Big Sky Country State Fair kicks off Wednesday and is packed with family friendly fun. Our favorites are always the 4-H barns, the evening concerts, and of course, the rodeo. You’ll spot several fair events in the featured list below, so if that’s your thing, now’s the time to start planning.
This guide exists for one reason - to make figuring out what to do this week just a little bit easier.
