Gather in Gallatin · Gather in Gallatin

The biggest challenge this week isn’t finding something to do.

It’s keeping up.

I counted 90 family-friendly events happening across Gallatin Valley this week... and somehow that’s during a holiday week!

If you’re wondering why your favorite class isn’t on the calendar, don’t panic. Quite a few recurring programs are paused this week—including M.O.R. classes—but they’ll be back next week. Instead, the calendar is packed with Fourth of July celebrations, community events, parades, farmers markets, special pop-up activities, and plenty of reasons to get out of the house.

One quick favor before you load everyone into the car. Please double-check the event links before heading out. Between the rain we’ve had, the rain still in the forecast, and last week’s string of cancellations and reschedules, there’s a good chance a few plans will continue to shift. That’s exactly why I include direct links whenever possible.

Speaking of getting out...

I realized I never shared one of our favorite adventures from a couple of weeks ago because I was so wrapped up in Old Salt Festival. We spent the evening at Alpacas of Montana thanks to Thrive, and it was one of those simple outings that we talk about often. It was completely FREE, incredibly fun, and just another reminder of how many organizations around here work hard to create opportunities for local families. We appreciate all that Thrive does for our community.

Now... let’s get to a few highlights.

🎣 Monday (6/29) - Cops & Bobbers
A free morning of fishing with the Bozeman Police Department for kids 12 and under.

🤱 Tuesday (6/30) - Breastfeeding & Infant Feeding Group
A welcoming morning at Roots Family Collaborative for moms and babies to connect and ask questions.

🍔 Wednesday (7/1) - Bozeman Spirits BBQ Party
One of the more unique community events this week—grab something from the new Daniels’ Meats vending machine, then head over to Bozeman Spirits for a BBQ where they’ll grill it up while you enjoy live music, lawn games, a community toast, and the release of a 10-year-aged rum.

🤠 Thursday (7/2) - Historic Livingston Roundup Parade
One of the area’s classic summer traditions, and it’s always worth the drive if you’ve never experienced it.

And that’s just a sneak peek... I can’t give away all 90 events. ;)

Inside this week’s full roundup you’ll find family dance classes, mommy workouts, Fourth of July celebrations, farmers markets, library programs, outdoor adventures, community festivals, and so much more happening across Bozeman, Belgrade, Livingston, Manhattan, Big Sky, West Yellowstone, and beyond.

Every week I comb through 110+ tabs, community calendars, Facebook events, Instagram posts, newsletters, and local websites so you don’t have to spend your evening wondering:

“What are we doing this week?”

For just $5/month, you’ll unlock:

✔ The complete weekly event roundup

✔ Direct registration and event links

✔ Seasonal guides and local resources

✔ Hidden gems you probably wouldn’t have found otherwise

✔ One place to find everything without spending an hour scrolling social media

Gather in Gallatin exists because this is exactly what I wished existed when I became a parent.

One place.

One list.

One less thing to think about.

And if you’re already a paid subscriber, thank you. Every subscription helps support this slightly ridiculous (but apparently very useful) tradition of keeping 110+ tabs open in the name of helping local families make the most of living here.

Alright... let’s see what 90 events looks like.
