If you’re curious why anyone would spend time writing and illustrating a nearly incomprehensible adventure thriller story, you can check out a couple of my inspirations in this July 16 post.
One influence I left out was the 2004 TV show “Lost.” Love it or hate it (I personally think they didn’t nail the landing) you must admit it piled mysteries one on top of another and reveled in our confusion.
That’s what I’m doing with “Wounds,” but I believe the ending is solid. You can let me know in December, when this story ends.

It’s primary election day here in Michigan, so we’ll soon see how screwed up the election process is likely to be from here on.
It’s interesting to see the dystopian sci fi I’ve been reading since the ‘60s, meant to scare people away from tyranny, is unfolding before our eyes.
I’m still a fan of utopia, myself. I hope you find yours.
