I’m excited that two of my pieces were accepted in the “Arte de Descartes - 2026” exhibition at Raices Taller Gallery that runs from August 22-October 10.
The opening reception is this Saturday, August 22, from 6-9pm at 218 E 6th St in Tucson.

Sunday was the first ‘church’ service for the Kevin Pakulis Band at the Hut on 4th Avenue. Despite the heat, our crowd showed up to let us know they approved of the new location! Every Sunday from 2:30-5pm.
And don’t forget to mark your calendar for the first fall Dropped By Birds appearance Wednesday, October 21 at the Tucson Hop Shop, 6-8pm! It will be good to see the friendly folks there again, play some music with the gang, have some Ciao Down pizza, and hopefully much cooler weather.
PS: October 21 was officially deemed Carnivaleros Day by our old friend Jonathan Holden of Rhythm & Roots fame…RIP, good sir.
