2025 was my garage year. Like if I was in the Time Chamber in DBZ.

The year I took apart the engine, changed the chassis, and rebuilt the vehicle.

Some projects evolved. Others reached their natural conclusion. A few revealed what they were always meant to become.

The result is Proplyd Productions.

More than a company, it is a vehicle designed to support bigger ambitions. A structure capable of protecting intellectual property, developing creative projects, and helping stories travel further than a single format. Looking back, I realize that many of the experiences, businesses, communities, and creative adventures I’ve been involved in were all pointing in the same direction.

Why this shift? How do you go from consulting, strategy, music, entrepreneurship, and community building to launching a production company? More importantly, what can this journey teach anyone trying to align passion, purpose, and business?

Some projects begin long before they have a name.

Looking back, I think the first seed was planted several years ago.

Throughout my career, whether in music, entrepreneurship, consulting, animation, or community building, I kept noticing the same phenomenon. On one side stood talented creatives overflowing with ideas, emotion, and vision. On the other stood business professionals armed with systems, capital, and execution. Both groups needed each other, yet they often struggled to speak the same language.

That observation stayed with me.

At the same time, I found myself becoming increasingly fascinated by intellectual property, world-building, and the way great stories can travel across formats, territories, and generations. A song becomes a soundtrack. A character becomes a franchise. A universe becomes a movement.

Over time, I realized that creating was no longer enough. I wanted to build, structure, and protect the intellectual property and global franchises I was developing. I wanted to step beyond the role of creator and fully embrace the role of creative entrepreneur. Not because creativity had become less important, but because ambition requires a vehicle capable of carrying it further.

That’s where Proplyd comes from.

The name itself is inspired by astrophysics. A proplyd is an embryonic planetary system, a place where matter gathers before becoming something larger. The concept resonates deeply with me because of my fascination with the cosmos, my spirituality, and my belief that great projects often begin as invisible sparks.

Every great story starts somewhere. A conversation, a drawing, a melody, an encounter, an idea. Our role is to help that spark grow and become something meaningful.

People often imagine major projects begin with a grand announcement.

In reality, they usually begin quietly.

A notebook filled with ideas, a conversation with a trusted friend, a question that refuses to leave your mind, or a vision that keeps coming back no matter how many times you try to ignore it.

For me, the journey wasn’t linear.

EMIT taught me valuable lessons about structure and entrepreneurship. Ready Or Not Records and the Hip Hop Community taught me about culture, storytelling, and bringing people together. My work with JR expanded my understanding of creativity, collaboration, and impact.

Each experience added a piece to the puzzle.

The more I learned, the more obvious it became that my ambitions were growing beyond individual projects. I wasn’t only interested in producing content anymore. I was becoming increasingly interested in developing ecosystems, intellectual property, and creative universes capable of generating long-term value.

MIFA played a particularly important role in that evolution.

It confirmed something I had been feeling for a long time. I belonged in these conversations. Not because I had all the answers, but because I was willing to learn, contribute, and keep moving forward.

Proplyd is not a sudden pivot.

It’s the logical continuation of a journey that started years ago.

Ideas are beautiful.

Execution is everything.

The mission of Proplyd Productions is simple: create, develop, produce, and amplify stories that matter.

Today, our activities focus on four main pillars:

• Scoring and music for picture

• Executive production

• Production

• Cross-media and transmedia exploitation

The objective isn’t to do everything.

The objective is to help creative ideas realize their full potential.

Too many great projects remain trapped in a single format. Yet the most powerful intellectual properties are capable of evolving. They create value across multiple touchpoints while remaining faithful to their original vision.

That is the challenge that fascinates me.

Not simply creating content, but building worlds.

2026 is a year of foundations.

A year of experimentation, partnerships, learning, and momentum.

Several projects are already underway across music, audiovisual production, and intellectual property development. Some are public. Others remain confidential for now.

What excites me most isn’t a particular deliverable. It’s the possibility of building something durable.

Over the years, I’ve produced an album, published a book, built communities, launched ventures, and contributed to projects across multiple industries. Today, I find myself moving closer to a dream I’ve carried for a long time: film, animation, world-building, and stories capable of travelling far beyond their point of origin.

I’ve often spoken about entrepreneurship, culture, music, and creativity, but perhaps all of those roads were leading here.

Maybe this is my life’s project.

Time will tell.
