About a month ago, I had the opportunity to chat with Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett. Back then, we talked about the news of the day — D.C. was mired in the longest government shutdown in American history, and Democrats were trying to turn a chaotic moment into a narrative win after significant election victories across the country.
All of that is old news now. But at the end of our conversation, I squeezed in one last question about a looming Senate campaign she’d been teasing for weeks.
At the time, it was a possibility.
Today, it’s a full blown campaign.
