Which pollinators have you seen in your garden today?

Would love to see what is pollinating your plants in your garden today.

I'll start with two critical ones the

American Lady and the honeybee.

This butterfly landed precisely where a milkweed plant was located last year. Coincidence?

Your butterfly is not a monarch, but is either a painted lady or American lady. I can't quite tell from the image. I'm leaning toward painted lady.

EDIT: actually, I'm not leaning toward painted lady. I really can't decide between the two.

I'm thinking American Lady now.... too many around to all be Monarchs

I'm no JB with the camera, but I saw a second monarch this season. Too few anymore

I could only get a blurry photo but this is a black and gold bumble bee. One of our coolest looking bumble bee species and one I've only seen about four times ever.

I've always thought of these as the "American Bumblebee". Very common here. Now, I'm just not sure. The "Black and Gold Bumblebee" is so similar I'm not sure I can tell the difference.

I use this chart to help me identify. I'm no expert by any means, and the American and Black and gold bumble bees are very similar in markings. It is possible that this could be an American bumble bee.
