Saul was thinking about the different ways characters for TTRPGs are made. At first was the classic D&D which he 1st played in 1978 with his brother and two friends. The Class and Level system that all D&D games Saul played used. Since then D&D was played at various times with various intensity.
Then Saul was thinking of Dark Conspiracy which didn't have the classic Class and Level system and had a Lifepath system. Which Saul enjoyed making the character very much. Playing various games over the years where he has played over 100 different TTRPGs he thought about how they handled character creation.
Discussing with Jolene about the different TTRPGs they have played and which systems they preferred or were surprised to like. From that discussion this episode topic was formed.
