NITVTW 8/16: The Vault Is Built For This

Football is here.

For most of us, the season is no longer something we’re preparing for months down the road.

We’re practicing. We’re scrimmaging. We’re watching film. We’re finding problems that need answers before Friday night.

That’s exactly where I want the Vault to be useful.

Here’s what was added this week:

A few things I’m especially excited about:

The Coach’s Notebook is complete and released.

This became a much bigger project than I originally planned. It’s built to help coaches and staffs throughout the season with everything from philosophy and organization to game planning, halftime adjustments, self-scout, staff development, and more.

The OL Coach’s In-Season Guide is underway.

The goal is simple: identify problems OL coaches are actually seeing during the season and give practical answers.

This week we covered:

• Losing one-on-one pass protection reps
• Defensive line movement disrupting the run game
• Linebackers running through and creating problems

I also added the new OL Grading Worksheet in Google Sheets, started building the Defensive Breakdown System, and added another 19 combined drill videos and game clips.

That’s where I want the Vault headed now:

Less “here’s something interesting to read.”

More “here’s something that can help you solve a problem this week.”

PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP UPDATE

7 of the 20 Premium Annual spots have now been taken.

Premium members have direct access to me through my phone number and can schedule a Zoom meeting with me during the season if they want to talk through something in more detail.

That leaves 13 Premium spots remaining.

Once those 20 spots are filled, I’m closing that tier because I want to make sure I can actually give those coaches the access they’re paying for.
