I think chic women secretly have one thing in common and it’s not beauty products, pilates memberships, or expensive routines.
I think they have systems. And they know how to plan.
Tiny systems.
The kind that make them remember birthdays, somehow never run out of essentials, have dinner reservations already booked, and always seem a little less frazzled than everyone else.
And I think that’s why I’ve become weirdly attached to beginning-of-the-month rituals. Not because I’m trying to become a new person every thirty days, but because I like the feeling of getting my life back underneath me again.
Like opening all the tabs in your brain and finally clicking close.
So here’s my monthly planning ritual.
I always start here because when I don’t, I feel like I’m walking into a month blind.
There is something about seeing everything written down that immediately makes me feel calmer. Otherwise I end up remembering someone’s birthday two days before (or worse, one day later), agreeing to plans I forgot I had, and realizing I somehow booked three things on the same weekend.
This is basically my monthly life admin moment.
1. Open your planner and fill out the month at a glance and add:
