Everything I Loved This Summer

Summer has brought so many new favorites into the mix. I feel like we really got to savor every moment of summer this year. Last year was insane before the wedding and it went by way too quick. I wanted to soak up each day and take advantage of really gorgeous weather in LA and everywhere we traveled.

Some reoccurring themes..

1. Lotsss of self care — I love this Dove Serum+ Soothing Oil Body Wash I have been using this summer, which gives the perfect glow and moisture for my freshly tanned skin. It feels lightweight, but luxurious and nourishing. I also love the scent, which includes notes of almond oil and sandalwood (right up my ally).

2. Also, I forgot how much I love a lash lift! I have the straightest, most stubborn downward eyelashes, and it feels so much better with them lifted and curled! I’ve been loving these Victoria Beckham Beauty and Sarah Creal mascaras.

3. I started to really expand my eyewear collection, which has been so fun and I’ve loved trying new styles and brands this summer.

4. More color in my closet, including my jewelry collection. Whether it’s a bright blue shirt or colorful beads, I really leaned into the colors and unique stones that I gravitated toward. I sometimes overthink how to incorporate color but what I’ve learned is just lean into the colors you really enjoy and that will feel natural.

5. A creature of habit — sticking with the bikini I feel most confident in year after year, favorite cotton pants, reaching for the same tee and bag day after day. Living my truth.

6. Over the last couple years, I’ve learned bringing things you love while traveling goes a long way in making you feel less anxious and comfortable.

I can’t lie, I am really loving summer and very thankful it lingers a little longer in LA.. Hope you enjoy every moment!
