As we prepare for the launch of Palm Beach Modern Auctions’ November 2026 season, Rico Baca, the Co-Founder and Auctioneer, and I will be spending much of July and August on the road meeting with galleries, advisors, collectors, estates, and institutions throughout several major art markets across the United States.
After nearly three decades in the art world, I have learned that the strongest relationships are built face-to-face. While technology allows us to connect instantly, there is still tremendous value in sitting down over coffee, walking through a gallery storeroom, reviewing inventory together, having lunch/dinner, and discussing opportunities that may not be visible from a spreadsheet or online viewing room.
This summer, I will be scheduling meetings in:
• New York City
• New Jersey
• Philadelphia
• Houston
• Austin
• San Francisco
Our focus is on the upcoming November auction season and the identification of works suitable for auction, private sale, and strategic secondary market placement.
Many galleries, advisors, and estates continue to hold inventory that no longer aligns with current programming goals, exhibition schedules, storage capacity, or capital allocation strategies. Whether it is backstock, artist inventory, estate holdings, prints, multiples, paintings, sculpture, or works that may benefit from broader secondary-market exposure, I welcome the opportunity to discuss how Palm Beach Modern Auctions can help.
