I scored below 50% on my first college admissions test.

I was deferred from business school freshman year.

After graduating, I interviewed for roughly 50 entry-level jobs before one company finally hired me.

Despite all of that, I went on to build multiple seven-figure businesses and a net worth of more than $5 million by 30.

In the next 3 minutes, I’m going to break down the four skills that made that possible, why you need them to be successful, and how you can use them to launch your own business in 2026.

My story did not begin with entrepreneurship.

Against the odds, I eventually became a successful product manager at a Fortune 500 company.

But after spending years helping other companies build their products, I decided to take a shot at building something of my own.

  • In our first month, we generated $50,000.

  • We generated 7-figures in our first year.

  • Today that company generates more than $4 million annually.

This year we launched a 2nd business partnering with other job search companies by running their backend fulfillment to get their clients better results.

That business also scaled past $1M annual rev.

I share this to show you that I’m naturally not gifted whatsoever.

I succeeded because I learned how to

  • identify what people urgently wanted

  • package it into an offer they were excited to buy

  • create predictable demand

  • and build systems that allowed the company to grow beyond me.

Those are not qualities reserved for a small group of born entrepreneurs.

They are learnable skills.

And once I understood them, building a business became far less mysterious.

Here are the four that made the biggest difference.

Most struggling entrepreneurs start with what they want to sell.

I started with what people were already desperate to buy.

I studied market demand, buyer psychology, pain points, alternatives and objections. Then I designed an offer that solved an expensive problem and made the decision to buy feel obvious.

A great offer doesn’t require you to manipulate people.

It makes the value so clear that the right buyer can quickly recognize that staying where they are will cost more than solving the problem.

I didn’t want a business that depended on whether Instagram decided to show my post to the right people that day.

I wanted a machine.

So I built a repeatable system that could consistently put our offer in front of qualified buyers, generate conversations and produce clients.

No dancing on social media.

No praying for a viral post.

No wondering where next month’s revenue would come from.

When demand becomes predictable, entrepreneurship stops feeling like gambling.

I may genuinely be one of the world’s worst natural salespeople.

But I figured out how to enroll our first clients.

Then, within about 30 days, I started building a sales team to take that responsibility off my plate.

That allowed me to spend more time on the things I’m actually good at: product, marketing and strategy.

Too many founders build businesses that depend on them doing everything forever.

That just a stressful job with no benefits.

Your goal shouldn’t be to become great at every function. It should be to get good enough to prove the model, document what works and eventually put someone better in the seat.

AI gave us the ability to increase output without hiring an army of expensive employees.

We used it to accelerate research, marketing, follow-up, operations and fulfillment.

That meant more work completed with less money, less time and fewer layers of management.

AI may be threatening traditional white-collar employment, but for entrepreneurs, it may be the greatest leverage opportunity of our lifetime.

The same technology that makes depending on one employer increasingly dangerous makes launching a lean, profitable business more accessible than ever.

That is exactly what we are teaching inside Future Proof Founder.

It’s a cohort of just 15 corporate professionals who are finally ready to turn what they know into a real business.

I am the only coach in the cohort. You work directly with me every week for an entire year as we develop your offer, build your client acquisition system, improve your sales process and use AI to scale the business efficiently.

And for qualified members who consistently complete the work, I will continue personally supporting you until your new business generates at least $100,000 in revenue.

It’s an intimate group, 10/15 spots are already filled. If you want to see if you qualify for Future Proof Founder, book an intro call with our team here: elevatedtech.us/future-proof
