I've started to toy around with Cartesian genetic programming again, mostly for fun. I can't find much non-academic stuff on it though, which is a little weird, given how easy (IMO) it is to understand, implement and play around with them. I've started to toy around with Cartesian genetic programming again, mostly for fun. I can't find much non-academic stuff on it though, which is a little weird, given how easy (IMO) it is to understand, implement and play around with them.
Is it just that neural networks are that much more interesting, so people don't know about them, or is there something about them that makes them less appealing? I think it's a lot harder to find a profit incentive, but surely that's not stopped people from playing around with stuff before.
