Ayesha Hilton · Fully Expressed with Ayesha Hilton

If you’re new here, welcome. I’m glad you found me.

Fully Expressed is for women in midlife who know there’s more in them.

More to express, create, experience and become.

Not more to prove.

More to express.

Many of us arrive at this stage of life after decades of doing what needed to be done.

We’ve worked. Raised families. Built careers and businesses. Taken care of people. Made sensible decisions. Changed direction. Got things right and got plenty of things wrong.

And somewhere amongst all of that, parts of ourselves can get put aside.

Ideas we never followed. Things we wanted to create. Opinions we learned to keep to ourselves. Dreams that didn’t quite fit the life we were living at the time.

Then midlife arrives and something starts to shift.

For me, it has brought a growing awareness that I don’t want to get to the end of my life with too much of myself still inside me.

There are still things I want to say, create, experience and become.

That’s why Fully Expressed exists.

It’s about finding the clarity to know what you want, the courage to choose it, and the freedom to express who you really are through what you say, create and bring into the world.

These three ideas sit underneath much of what we explore here.

Clarity is about asking what you actually want now. Not what you wanted ten years ago or what everyone else expects of you.

Courage is what comes next. Because knowing what you want and actually choosing it are two very different things.

Creation is about doing something with what you discover. Writing the book. Making the art. Starting the business. Changing direction. Sharing your ideas. Having the conversation. Taking the trip. Or simply choosing to live differently.

It’s about taking more of what is inside you and actually bringing it into your life and the world.

I write about creativity, getting older, relationships, work, identity, courage, technology, writing, visibility, the things I’m creating, and the things I’m figuring out as I go.

Some posts are personal. Some are practical. Some are simply questions I’m wrestling with myself.

I don’t have all of this figured out, and I’m not interested in pretending I do.

I’d much rather we have real conversations about what it looks like to reach this stage of life and ask:

What do I want to do with the rest of it?

Fully Expressed is becoming more than somewhere I write. I want it to be somewhere we actually talk to each other too.

All subscribers are invited to my free monthly Futurecasting sessions, where we get together online and spend some time getting clear about what we want to create and experience next.

And if you want to be more involved, you can join the Fully Expressed Collective.

Collective members get access to our Virtual Cuppas + Q&A, member-only chats, mini workshops, meditations, practical resources, and priority invitations to come Live with me on Substack and share your own story or work.

I’d love to know who is reading.

Leave a comment, send me a private message, or reply to one of my emails and tell me:

What part of you is asking to be expressed right now?

Maybe you already know.

Maybe you have absolutely no idea.

Either way, you’re welcome here.

Welcome to Fully Expressed.

Love,

Ayesha xox
