FUBAR PAC · FUBAR PAC's Substack

Sydney here,

Everything is great in the United States of America! Gas prices are like a bazillion dollars a gallon, the FBI is teaming up with UFC, and we are spending $2 billion a day on a war no one asked for.

Psst has FUBAR PAC taught you something or made you laugh? Make a contribution today to help us educate (and brighten the day of) even more voters in America!

Truly, things couldn’t get better and I say that as snow falls outside my window approximately 12 hours after I sat in a park in a tank top and shorts enjoying 80 degree weather.

Yes. Life is good!

And before you ask - Lexapro, 20 milligrams. Results may vary.

The fun thing about these gas prices is that Trump already tanked the renewable energy market and declared war on electric vehicles so you truly have no choice but to pay whatever god-awful prices they give you at the pump.

Jack got a haircut this week - please tell him you like it as he’s feeling a bit insecure (Jack edit: no I’m not because a very nice woman in the comments said I look handsome).

Back in February, President Trump issued an Executive Order protecting the weed-killing chemical Glyphosate (or RoundUp as you may know it from its brand name) as “vital to national security.

Trump’s Health Secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr. has been an opponent of the weedkiller for years, having helped sue the company and even calling for its banning in 2024.

So why would Trump stick his neck out for glyphosate?

Turns out glyphosate producer Bayer, a German company, threatened to pull out of the U.S. due to harm to their reputation and with it, take their ongoing production of white phosphorus for the U.S. military.

If you didn’t know, white phosphorus is used both for legitimate reasons (like smoke screens and lighting up a battlefield) and war crime reasons (like burning innocent peoples’ flesh off). Now we can’t know which one of those Trump plans to use the chemical for, but we can look at history to give us clues.

Sticking with the theme of miscellaneous war crimes, Jack waxed poetic about the truth and fiction of Havana Syndrome while he played the newly-released game Marathon.

A number of sources (most recently CBS) have confirmed what the U.S. intelligence agencies have long denied: that those suffering with Havana Syndrome are not crazy - they were indeed targeted by a noiseless, unseen weapon created by Russia and used against U.S. spies and government officials abroad.

Since 2016, a number of U.S. diplomats, spies and military officers have suffered crippling brain and bone injuries with seemingly no cause. When they asked the government to help them investigate what was causing their pain, the government repeatedly refused to do so.

Even as recently as 2023, the government said there was little evidence to support the theory that Russia was targeting agents. Then in 2024, the Pentagon purchased that very same weapon for $15 million dollars. They’ve since been using it to test on mammals, but refuse to acknowledge the government officials who are still suffering today.

In case you missed it, we launched our merch store! Now you can own a piece of FUBAR PAC - and rest easy knowing it’s union made right here in the U.S.A.!

But that’s not my request for you today. If you check out the store can you weigh in on what you like, don’t like, and what changes you’d like to see? Maybe you have an idea for a design? Think we should use a different color?

If we like your idea enough maybe we will send you some free stuff. We’re quirky like that.

Until next time,

-Sydney
