Hi, hello!!
Happy Friday and happy last day of July. The good news is that summer is summering in all her glory, and North Carolina has thankfully received record rainfall this month to help slowly pull us out of a pretty awful drought. The weather in Florida has been boiling hot and dry, but rain is allegedly on the way this weekend, and we’ll be all the better for it.
There is no bad news. Only the somewhat shocking news that the Storey children start school in 9 days?! Our Briarpatch baby is off to kindergarten, and everyone is feeling all sorts of ways about this big milestone.
Distraction is the name of the game, and Wednesday night’s Substack Live overdelivered. The night started somewhat peculiarly with nearly five minutes of dead air. While we waited not-so-patiently for Substack to notify the masses, we chatted with each other about soda and celebrating our one-year Substack Live-iversary…with NO ONE ACTUALLY IN THE LIVE?!?
