Dear Community,
Across California, parents are navigating pregnancy and early parenthood within systems that too often overlook their mental health.
But when lived experience, community leadership, and policy advocacy come together, change becomes possible. That’s the spirit behind this gathering.
The California Perinatal Wellness Alliance invites you to:
📍 Wellnest — South Los Angeles
📅 Wednesday, May 20, 2026
🕣 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Building on our 2024 convening, this gathering will bring together parents, providers, advocates, funders, and policymakers to strengthen California’s perinatal mental health systems.
Together, we’ll center survivor storytelling, community dialogue, wellness and healing, cross-sector connection, and pathways for systems change.
At the heart of the day are parents with lived experience—sharing stories that shift culture and inform policy.

Community support helps keep this event free and accessible—especially for parents most impacted by barriers to care.
We’re expanding our Breaking the Silence Storybook from 30 to 50 stories.
Whether you’re a parent, partner, family member, birth worker, advocate, or provider—your story matters. We’re especially seeking diverse voices, including fathers, partners, LGBTQ+ families, rural and immigrant communities, and others too often left out of the conversation.
Your story helps break stigma, strengthen advocacy, and protect future families.
