For any aspiring writers out there, would you please share a short bit of writing advice?
To be a good writer, you need to be a good reader. My advice is to read broadly and voraciously. You never know where inspiration will strike. And even if you’re reading a bad book, you’re learning something about where a story can go wrong. For a good writer, every book is a lesson.
What is the last book you raved about and what did you love about it?
London Falling by Patrick Radden Keefe—It is a riveting true-crime investigation that begins with the mysterious death of a London teenager and unravels into a story of lies, oligarch fantasies, gangland figures, and institutional failure. Following a grieving family’s search for answers, Keefe exposes the shadowy world beneath London’s glittering wealth while asking how far ambition, deception, and the hunger for status can carry a person before everything collapses.
What can you tell us about your work-in-progress?
