My thoughts on spring trends.

I’ve been thinking about our Tuesday Livestream from a couple of weeks ago. Alex and Betsy did a Spring Trends Forecast and it was wonderful (you can still catch it on YouTube). I don’t usually care much about trends, especially from the runway. I have my own style, which The Sewing Workshop definitely portrays, and I wear my clothes for years, so the general character of my wardrobe doesn’t change much. I wear pants in all colors and weaves, oversized tops in prints and solids and a jacket or two to finish it off. I like interesting details - raw edges, oddly-shaped pockets, hand sewn touches and hard-to-fine buttons from years of collecting.
