Jesus said his yoke is easy, but modern culture tells us to hustle, fake it till you make it, and build our own kingdoms. The result? A generation that is exhausted and wearing a mask of false humility while carrying a crushing burden of self-reliance. It is fascinating that modern behavioral science shows that what Christ taught, what He lived out to His very death, is that humbling ourselves under His cross isn’t a sign of weakness; it is actually the very way to the peace and comfort for our souls that we so desperately need.
