From Pottenstein to Heaven (Day 6 in the Fränkische Schweiz)

Our last hike in the Franconian Switzerland took us from Pottenstein into the Püttlach Valley. Along the way, we discovered beaver dams, the Hollenberg ruins with a stunning panoramic view, and free-roaming goats - before rewarding ourselves with iced coffee at a local bakery.

Pretzfeld, the Wallerwarte, and a Steam Locomotive (Day 5 in the Fränkische Schweiz)

A day of surprises in Franconian Switzerland: From hobbit-like beer cellars and a Jewish cemetery to Greifenstein Castle. Despite chilly winds and forgotten jackets, the hike delivered cherries, panoramic views, and a historic steam locomotive. A perfect blend of history and nature.

Hiking Around Gössweinstein: Castle, Caves, and River Valleys (Day 4 in the Fränkische Schweiz)
