Going Paid

Dear readers,

We hit the 1,000 subscriber mark some time ago. Thank you so much! I’m really enjoying being able to devote more time to The Frank Report, and I appreciate all your comments and support.

It was always my plan to go semi-paid after 1,000 subs. There are a few simple reasons for this:

1. I’m now writing full time.

2. My paid subscribers are keeping The Frank Report free for everyone, except themselves.

3. I have two daughters to feed.

I want to keep as much as possible free to read. So from now on, the main weekly column will sit behind a paywall for paid subscribers only. This will be the longer, more in-depth piece I put the most work into each week.

Everything else will remain totally free. I’m aiming for roughly three free posts for every paid one. I’m also going to put a teaser on the main weekly column (usually the first few paragraphs), so even if you don’t pay, you’ll still get a decent sense of what the piece is about.

I hope you can understand. I want to keep my writing to a high standard - not just a hobby I squeeze in around other work.
