COVID and testing

If I’m being honest, I just wanted an excuse to commit to bits the term nose sodomy. Just because.

So, I had a COVID exposure Saturday before last. I learned of this on Monday afternoon. That evening I went to get a COVID test. It did come back negative, but when asked about it I described it as follows:

Might have been a little early for a positive anyway. Thinking about testing again tomorrow, but if I’m not feeling bad, not sure it’s worth it. Although, free, and an excuse to leave the house, just have to endure a minute of nose sodomy.

All were amused. So there we are. I did go for another nostril sodomy that Wednesday evening, also free and clear. The infected was a passenger in my vehicle, in the front passenger seat while I was driving. Masks were not worn because we are all friends who have been cautious and are vaccinated, but alas, apparently one cannot be too careful with this nonsense

I attribute not getting COVID to being vaccinated, friend also being vaccinated (despite suffer a breakthrough, which only made him sick like cold/flu, no hospital needed, still a success), and maybe also the climate control in the Model 3, which was set on auto, circulating in fresh air (not recirculating).
