LOS ANGELES COUNTY, Calif. - One person was killed Friday morning after a tour bus caught fire on the 60 Freeway in Hacienda Heights, authorities said.

California Highway Patrol officers responded to reports of a bus fire around 5:38 a.m. One person was pronounced dead shortly after they arrived at the scene.
The incident forced the closure of multiple eastbound lanes near Azusa Avenue for the investigation. All lanes reopened by 11 a.m.
