My twin sister, Kathryn, and I just had a whirlwind trip to Paris, where we celebrated our pop-up at Le Bon Marché with a beautiful breakfast, met with many of our international buyers, and squeezed in a bit of culture. For Mother’s Day, we gave our mama an airline ticket and told her she was coming along, and it made for a fabulous few days of work and play. Despite the Paris heatwave (temps were consistently above 100° in a city known for its lack of AC), we traversed the city to shops, meetings, long, joyful dinners, and even made it over to Fondation Louis Vuitton to see the spectacular Calder exposition (highly recommend if you find yourself in Paris this summer). As always, we packed carry-ons (admittedly, we shipped a box back to NYC filled with jewelry displays, samples, and a few outfit changes before we – and our carry-ons – continued to Sicily), which is undeniably easier when there’s no need for layers. Here, a peek at what we packed, as well as some summertime purchases inspired by our Paris travels!
Lots of moving around and record-high temps called for efficient packing and breezy looks. How chic is sis with her Maska linen shirt which is weightless and cool while still looking “dressed.”
Kathryn lived in her Naghedi woven mules by day.
And this Mary Al Terna bag from Tokyo, which my husband had instructions to bring back during his last trip. He (very kindly) tracked down the red for Kathryn and the pistachio for me – they’re collapsible, lightweight, and utterly cool.
I adore these French hair pins – artful and practical for sweaty walks through the city.

I’m a big fan of wearing swimwear as tops in the summer, and I’d wear my favorite brown Tropic of C swimsuit with the Tory wrap skirt noted above.
If I had prettier feet, I’d be all over these elegant strappy sandals from Emme Parsons. (I did live in her fisherman sandals in Ivory while in Paris).
These earrings came along to Paris; they pair beautifully with brown and cream tones.
Sis owns this Multitudes cross-body and it’s perfect for travel (an easy way to hold a phone, passport, or lipstick). I love the graphic print and that it doesn’t read utilitarian.
We’ve both been wearing a lot of High Sport; it’s brilliant because it doesn’t wrinkle even in a stuffed carry-on. I’d wear this tank with the wrap skirt too.
Pair that great white neckline with our new Souvenir Necklace – a cool-gal statement necklace that can go from city to beach.
I wore this brown & yellow Dries Van Noten dress for our Summer Breakfast with editors and friends of the brand. I adore the palette and the bold floral print, and I’ll be bringing it along with me to Sicily, where I’ll pair it with our New Bloom Earrings in Canary.
The Pearl River Mart fans we picked up before the event were perhaps the best twenty dollars we’ve ever spent – guests were grateful! (And a ridiculously gorgeous, couture version here).
I’m not usually a tank top person, but I saw so many chic Parisian gals in low scoops (thanks to the scorching temps) and I felt inspired. I love this one from Rohe (and tried on this one from Carven at Galeries Lafayette!).
Kathryn’s Bilbao Collar with its natural wood and lustrous oversized pearl would be the nicest complement to these white tops.
And for a fancier approach, consider the Extra Large White Baroque Pearl & 14k Necklace (which I wore to the event).

Our beautiful breakfast table featured so many vintage silver coupes and now I’m dying to recreate the look at home. How cool are these (and these)?
Our favorite homewares brand, Lisa Corti, generously participated in the event and helped make the space so special. I own so many of their vibrant printed pieces but am lusting over this runner.
The designer of Paris-based shoe brand Nomasei joined our breakfast celebration. I’m into this pair of sandals from her line and would wear them with jeans or for dressing up.
Also crafted in France, I adore these candlesticks from Parisian artist Léa Zeroil.
And an event dress for even the hottest temps: this open back number from Bode would be on heavy rotation in my closet (I’d pair it with a jean jacket in the fall too).
I brought kitten heels from Jacquemus, Neous, and Proenza Schouler on the trip (my days of traversing the city in high heels are long gone), but I love this pair from Victoria Beckham. I’d wear them all the time.
Lightweight layers were mandatory for the Paris heatwave. I loved Kathryn’s look in this old (but very good) organza, Dries Van Noten wrap skirt, a Sofie D’hoore white shirt (which she buttoned low and tied high in the front), and our pearl Gala Bag.
I have long been a fan of Loretta Caponi dresses and think they are perfect for hot summer days. This one is elegant and would be on high rotation for summer travels.
Another white dress option that would have been lovely for dinners out in Paris: this one by Rohe.
I saw lots of gals in France wearing colorful bra tops under their barely-there shirts and dresses. I’m into the idea of this aqua blue peeking out.
How sweet is Kathryn’s New Bloom and Glass Beach Necklace combination? It really pops on her butter yellow Forte Forte top.

Kathryn found this embellished, pink Plan C shirt on sale at Bergdorf before we left for Paris and she looked adorable in it while there. Here it is on Mytheresa (also on sale!). Fun fact: this brand was founded by the daughter of Marni’s founders.
Petal pink in the summer is so appealing, and this is fabulous for a look that’s more elevated – I love the volume.
I’d dress down the pink Simone Rocha skirt with a flat sandal, like this one from Tibi.
Scarves are such a key styling accessory for me (around my waist; around my neck; if I had longer hair they’d land there too). This cutie from Miu Miu would look great tied around a pair of cream pants.
