HAITI: My friend Jerry and his students had to leave their art studio after a fire broke out, and due to the violence happening in Haiti, you can donate to them here or purchase a work of art from one of Jerry’s art students.
NYC: Artist Max Colby has been suffering from medical issues for the past year and has been unable to make art, and could use your help if you’re willing and able, as she recovers from surgeries.
COLORADO: Daniel Bishop, son of the visionary artist and creator of Bishop Castle, has suffered major injuries in an accident near the environment, plus the Colorado wildfires are dangerously close to the castle and could use your help as they recover.

That’s right. Summer is over. Le fin. It’s back to school for me and hopefully you won’t see much of a disruption in the posting, newsletters coming out on time, podcast delieveries and whatever else. But if you do notice, bear with me please and thank you — I’m at school teaching and trying not to get in a fight!

In addition to making art that is “dedicated to the underbelly of society”, he has worked as a drug and alcohol counselor at rehabs for adolescents and adults. He lives in Queens, New York.
