Few names carry the weight of American history quite like Vanderbilt. As a seventh generation descendant of shipping and railroad magnate Cornelius Vanderbilt, Consuelo Vanderbilt Costin was born into one of the most storied dynasties in the world. But rather than relying on that legacy, she has focused on building one of her own.
A Billboard charting recording artist, Consuelo signed her first record deal in London at 21 and went on to tour globally before launching her own label, C&R Productions. Her debut single “Naked” spent 16 weeks on the Billboard Dance Charts, “Feel So Alive” earned her Billboard’s number two Breakout Artist honor, and “Body Needs” reached the Top 5. Most recently, she signed with William Morris Endeavor, marking a major milestone in her music career.
Beyond music, she has built a strong presence in entrepreneurship. As co-founder of SohoMuse, she created a global networking platform connecting creative professionals across industries, with projects spanning New York and London Fashion Week, film, and television. She also launched Homage, a jewelry collection inspired by Vanderbilt family heirlooms, and founded House of Vanderbilt, the first official family office bearing the Vanderbilt name.
Featured in Vogue, Town & Country, PAPER, and Raine Magazine, and serving on the Forbes Iconoclast Advisory Board as well as the boards of the Vanderbilt Museum and the Ovarian Cancer Coalition of Greater California, Consuelo brings a modern, entrepreneurial perspective to a historic name. At SVEF 2026, she will share insights at the intersection of legacy, creativity, and building across industries. She also recently announced signing with William Morris talent agency.
