Dielectric amplifiers and magnetic amplifiers are complementary. Magnetic amplifiers use induction and operate at lower frequencies. Dielectric amplifiers use capacitance and operate at high frequencies. Magnetic amplifiers are well documented, although there are few references that deal with their fundamentals.
Dielectric amplifiers are poorly documented, so it was fortunate that one of the few reports on them deals with their analysis.
