Folks,
this is just to let you know that there will be a summer hiatus in the adventures of the kids in space racing against the Feds/Eds (and against time in an entirely different way than most of us). I posted these every week for 4 months straight, with only a couple of breaks, and some other things have piled up, as they do; and more importantly for you and me together, I started feeling I am not doing justice to the story. Also, I miss reading – there is a reading list waiting for me here, on Substack, that’s weeks old, not to mention actual books. So thanks for being here with me and for reading, and if you aren’t reading, I hope you will :)
(And there are the Flyover Valley stories, a completed series that is pretty cheerful, though not without some drama, about escaping social care, weaning calves and just generally sticking it to the system).
