Our Farm Store has seasonal treats such as heirloom tomatoes, flowers galore, and JuiceBox watermelon

For those of you patiently waiting for our inventory of beef and lamb to be replenished, thank you. The wait is over. Click here to see what we have in stock. Our produce and flowers are abundant and beautiful, making the trip to the grey barn worth the trip. Budget some time to walk the trails while you are here!!

  • The Herbalism 101 Class was so great, On Tuesday, September 15, Sami and Rachel will be offering a second episode - this time a Fire Cider making class. Fire Cider is a traditional remedy of infused vinegar and honey to boost immunity, ease digestion, and clear congestion. In this workshop you will learn about the history of Fire Cider and then make our own pungent immune tonics to take home. Click here to register.

  • Then, on Thursday, September 17, Chef Brian Rizzo will be teaching us how to make tomato sauce in a traditional rondo over a bonfire. We may even taste our creation over some pasta …. And of course bring home our creations. Click here to learn more and register.

  • On Sunday September 27, we will be ushering in the Full Harvest Moon with Peter Kraus Fitness. A late afternoon walk, some yoga, a nutritious meal, and a bonfire. Heaven. Click here for more information and to register.

Emily Killeen led a yoga retreat on the land this past weekend. I popped off my mat to take this picture, but the day was the epitome of “grounding.”

In addition to finding FLYNN CREEK FLAVORS at specialty shops such as Alimentari, Pasture & Plenty, and Seven Acre Dairy, starting this week you will find them Willy’s Coop West. Bangin’ Beet Poke, Punchin’ Umami Cukes, Jammin’ Tomato Garlic Jam, Gourmet Garden Sauce, and Mary’s Slayin’ Bloody Mix can still be found at the Dane County Farmer’s Market, at our farm store, and at the Forage Kitchens Monona location, but we are really excited to be gaining broader distribution. Clean label products made with organic produce for the busy cook who won’t trade health for convenience.

Our refrigerated lineup, John offering samples at the Dane County Farmer's Market, and our Garden Sauce sweetened only with carrots

It’s peak season and this bunch has been working hard growing since March. We are so grateful for all that they do and their commitment to this work. Right around now it’s like mile 22 of a marathon and the head winds (tomatoes) are coming on strong.
