We’re thrilled to share some wonderful news from a valued collaborator and member of the extended K180 family: Talia Light Rake’s indie pilot “Too Romantic” won the Grand Jury Award for Best Episodic at Geena Davis’s Bentonville Film Festival (the very same festival where The Floaters premiered).
Praising Talia and the pilot, the jury wrote:
“Director & Writer Talia Light Rake taps into the current zeitgeist with a marvelously executed pilot that brings together modern internet/social media humor with classic rom-com structure. The charismatic leads and vibrant writing make for a delightful watch and show significant potential for future episodes and a fully realized television series.”
