Many of you will have had a little break from work as 2025 draws to a close, and the last thing you need is a newsletter from that technical leadership person. So maybe keep this one in your inbox until your start fresh in 2026.
What a year it’s been for Fish Percolator! We started the year partway through a contract with British Red Cross: when that project wrapped in the spring, the team was in a great place - morale was high and they were delivering at pace.
The summer brought a big R&D period, during which we developed a brand new daily mobile game, Likely2: bringing people closer to their friends and colleagues by spreading a little gratitude. You can read more about Likely2 - and maybe start playing? - on the blog here.
We also did some small bits of work with our friends at Geeks for Social Change for a charity whose mission is important to both organisations.
The autumn brought the launch of the new website, blog and newsletter as it became time for me to give back some of the tips I have picked up over my many years in tech leadership.
And then in November we started working on a really exciting contract for an as-yet-unnamed client that you’ve probably heard of. I’m looking forward to telling you all about them when the time comes.
