Welcome to our June edition of opportunities for photographers.
This month, we’ve curated 21 grants, awards, residencies, exhibitions, portfolio reviews, and photobook publishing opportunities, with more than a dozen free calls among the selection.
Highlights include two grants totaling €75,000 for socially engaged photographic projects, a €25,000 photobook production grant, and multiple $10,000 grants supporting documentary and photo-based storytelling. Several opportunities offer fully funded photobook publication, while others provide unique career-building experiences, including a two-week residency in Kyoto working alongside master collotype printers, a month-long residency in New York, and a funded artist residency in Germany.
Photographers can apply for exhibitions and showcase opportunities in Paris, Berlin, London, Vienna, Singapore, Lisbon, Bologna, and Chicago, while this month’s themes span nature, environmental issues, water, botanicals, war reporting, human rights, street photography, alternative processes, vintage imagery, and contemporary perspectives on American identity.
It’s a big month, good luck!
