Dear friends, it was wonderful to practice together at our last session and we warmly invite you to our upcoming Beloved Community gathering this Saturday, July 18.
Over the past few months, we have shared three rich conversations together: one on Dorothy Day with Robert Ellsberg, one on Dipa Ma with Amita Schmidt, and one with Andrew Young. This upcoming session will be an opportunity to gather the wisdom of these conversations and what they have planted in us.
In preparation, we invite you, if you wish, to revisit one or more of these conversations using the links below.
As you watch, we invite you to reflect on a few questions:
What moved you most?
What was awakened or stirred within you?
How have these conversations inspired or deepened your spiritual practice?
How might the fruits of your practice become a deeper expression of compassion and justice, in service of all beings in our hurting world?
Together, we will reflect on what we have received, what continues to unfold within us, and how these teachings are inviting us to embody the Beloved Community more fully in our lives.
We truly hope you can join us this Saturday.
With gratitude,
Adam & Kaira Jewel

These gatherings are open to all. They are held in a spirit of deep ecumenism. Whatever your background or religious affiliation, whatever spirituality or practice you are exploring, you are welcome here. You do not need to belong to any particular faith tradition to take part.
At the same time, we, Kaira Jewel and Adam teach grounded in our own traditions. We offer them not as something to impose, but as resources we have received from those in whose footsteps we follow. And from there, we keep pointing toward what Howard Thurman named so beautifully: the importance of tending your inner life, listening for the voice of the genuine, and staying connected to that deep place within you that animates you with love and guides how you live.
Monthly gatherings are offered on a donation basis. Your donations help support Adam and Kaira Jewel’s ability to continue to offer these programs and also our new contemplative center, The Beloved Commmunity for Engaged Spirituality and Our Lady of the Resurrection Monastery.
