With your support, our all-volunteer board is looking forward to reaching an ever-growing community of passionate makers and movers who care about the built environment vis-à-vis design excellence, sustainability, transportation, smart growth, better urbanism!

Today, for so many reasons, we find ourselves in truly uncharted territory. The architecture and design community is charged with addressing current challenges, as well as called upon to look into the future to shape it intentionally, and start preparing for it logistically.

As these efforts unfold, Friends of Architecture Santa Fe (FASF) is uniquely situated to continue its tours, events, lectures, charrettes, and most importantly…great gatherings, to engage and expand the awareness of these civil, planning, and design issues of the hour.

At the 2025 AIA Awards ceremony, FASF took home the AIA Honor Award for the ReVision Santa Fe Style Series for the body of work of lectures, design charrette, and Santa Fe Community Gallery exhibition. The entire series was an investigative look at how Santa Fe’s own past included proactive visioning efforts that shaped the city we know today, and how we are in a position to make those same efforts again, looking forward to the next generations.

Following our most recent meeting, FASF welcomes a new slate of Board Officers:

• We are finalizing and will soon announce upcoming dates for 2026 ReVISION events that will focus on the future of Santa Fe.

• FASF is helping to bring an exhibition on the life and work of Tucson regional modernist architect Judith Chafee to Santa Fe this fall. We will be hosting a related panel discussion on regional modernism and contemporary practice.
