Everybody Is Having an Identity Crisis and It's Scheduled

Our subjects have been heavy for weeks now. That’s not really my doing, the sky has been busy and every item on the calendar has been about deep, rooted change, and yes, these are important times, I’m not going to pretend otherwise.

But then you look up from all of it and life is just carrying on. Isn’t it always like that, though? Actually?

Because big changes don’t arrive all at once. They never have. There’s always a background to them, a long slow steeping that was going on the entire time nothing appeared to be happening.

And since the pandemic in particular, all of us have been in a collective individuation process.

Now. I don’t want to parrot things I’ve already said plenty of times in previous letters and bore you with them, why, because I’ve bored myself saying them. (I do always consider myself first, obviously)

But here is where we’ve arrived. That years-long business of nothing ever being the way it used to be, we’ve reached the stage where we’ve accepted it. Okay. Fine. Understood.

The world we had before 2019 is gone. There are things in it we’re genuinely sad to have lost, absolutely, and the collective grieving is still going on, no question. But alongside that, something else has been settling into us. The ability to see things as they actually are. That has got noticeably stronger in all of us, and quietly, and nobody handed it to us. (Welcome to the Age of Aquarius.)

Last week I published a very long letter about the nodes moving onto the Leo-Aquarius axis, and a good number of you told me you were struggling to digest it. Fairly. It was not a quick meal. I spent most of it on the gift, on sharing the light, on the spotlight, and on what all of that is a symbol of.

And I know it read dark. It isn’t dark. Truly, it isn’t. There’s a chill coming off it, yes, the Aquarian cold, the ice in the air. But that isn’t darkness. It’s just realistic to a degree most of us aren’t used to.

So this week, plainly.
