When in Doubt, Build and Create

If you’re feeling stuck, make something.

Anything.

Write a snippet of code. Draw a sketch. Snap a photo. Edit a short video. Draft an article. Start a side business. Spend an hour at the gym. Call someone you’ve been meaning to reconnect with.

There’s something oddly liberating about waking up and realizing: I can create something today.

Three years ago, I changed my company’s core value to “to build and create.”

Not because it sounded clever, but because I realized it was the only thing you can truly control in an uncontrollable world.

In a volatile, fast-changing environment, predicting the future is futile. Creating it is not.

When you create, you’re no longer waiting for events to unfold — you’re making the world unfold differently.

When I talk to users about AI products, I often tell them: AI will redo the things we already do.

But here’s the unspoken truth: new AI will also redo old AI — completely, from scratch.

That’s the real question indecision is asking you: will you wait to be disrupted, or will you choose to disrupt yourself?

Three months ago, my CTO XD and I started building Atypica.AI.

We had nothing but a fuzzy intuition and a few prototype AI agents that could talk to each other.

No product roadmap. No marketing plan.

XD later confessed: “I only knew how to start — I didn’t know what to do next.”

And yet, today, tens of thousands of people around the world use Atypica every day.

That journey didn’t just cure my indecision — it taught me something fundamental:

Being stuck isn’t a sign that you have no answer. It’s an invitation to start moving.

The act of creating is how the answer reveals itself.

For most of history, build and create came with a list of prerequisites:

You needed people. Skills. Resources. Customers.

But today?

AI has shifted the bottleneck from skills to imagination.

Don’t know how to code? AI can write it.

Don’t know design? AI can draw it.

Don’t know editing? AI can cut it.

The things that once took years to master can now happen in a sentence.

We’ll never completely eliminate uncertainty — it’s part of life’s poetic texture.

But to build & create is a reliable antidote.

It’s the thing you can do when you don’t know what to do.

Because action will give you answers.

And creation will carry you through the fog.
