Jesus instructed experienced fishermen to move beyond shallow water into deeper territory. Leadership often becomes comfortable within familiar patterns and proven strategies. Yet growth sometimes requires obedience beyond preference. Launching deeper may involve new markets, expanded responsibility, or greater vulnerability. Christ’s direction can stretch expertise and challenge routine. The breakthrough was not in the nets but in the obedience. Kingdom entrepreneurs progress when they respond to His instruction, even when prior effort yielded little. Depth requires trust.
Identify one area where you have settled into safe repetition. Pray for discernment about whether Christ is prompting deeper engagement. If clarity comes, take a measured but decisive step beyond comfort. Evaluate risk responsibly, but do not
