Fair Care Idaho · Fair Care Idaho

Over the past several weeks, we’ve been focused on one of Fair Care Idaho’s biggest projects of the year: our 2026 Idaho Candidate Questionnaire.

We’re excited to share that responses have already started coming in! Thank you to the candidates who have taken the time to thoughtfully answer our questions.

Our team is currently sending follow-up emails to campaigns as we work to make sure every candidate has the opportunity to participate before responses are published.

If you’re a candidate who has received our questionnaire but haven’t had a chance to complete it yet, we’d love to hear from you. The survey is still open, and we encourage you to submit your responses as soon as you’re able.

Beginning in September, we’ll start publishing candidate responses on the Fair Care Idaho Substack as they are received.

If you’re part of a disability organization, community group, nonprofit, advocacy organization, or media outlet that would like to help share these responses with Idaho voters, we’d love to connect with you. Our goal is to make this information as accessible as possible so families across Idaho can make informed decisions this election season.

If you’d be interested in partnering with us, please reach out to the team at FairCareIdaho@gmail.com.

Share Fair Care Idaho

As many of you know, Fair Care Idaho is powered entirely by volunteers, and all of us are caregivers as well.

Between organizing survey responses, preparing them for publication, and spending some well-earned time with our families this summer, our weekly newsletter schedule may look a little different over the next month or so.

That doesn’t mean we’re going anywhere!

If important disability or caregiving news develops, we’ll absolutely be here to keep you informed. And if time allows, we may check in with additional updates between now and September.

In the meantime, we hope you’re enjoying your summer, spending time with the people you love, and finding opportunities to stay engaged in your community.

Whether that’s attending a town hall, talking with candidates at local events, or simply sharing your family’s story, every conversation helps build awareness of the issues that matter most to Idaho families.

Thank you for being part of this community and for supporting the work we’re doing together.

Remember, we’re in this together, and together, we are making a difference.
