Edgware Road, London, has been cordoned off due to an incident as police flood the scene. Access to the London Underground station, which is on the Bakerloo Line, has been shut off while police deal with the incident, the exact details of which are not yet known.
Transport for London (TfL) says on its website: "This station is closed while police respond to an incident. Tickets are being accepted on London Buses." Videos shared on social media show a large police presence outside the station and a cordon in place. Metropolitan Police has been contacted for comment.

Edgware Road, which runs in front of the Bakerloo Line side of the Tube station, is also closed from the junction with Bell Street to the junction with Harrow Road, according to Google Maps.

While Edgware Road remains closed, those needing the Bakerloo Line can walk six minutes to Marylebone, seven minutes to Paddington, or 11 minutes to Baker Street.
