From the useful information department:

Access to affordable, top notch medical care is one of the important reasons that Thailand, and particularly Hua Hin, is such a popular retirement destination. There are several excellent dental clinics in Hua Hin, but as I mentioned before, I picked Nana Dental Clinic because of its sparkling reputation and because it is about 100 meters from my front door.

Nana Dental Clinic’s newly renovated building smack in the middle of Hua Hin.

I first wrote about the excellent Nana Dental Clinic in one of my very first posts in August 2024. Since then, Nana’s popularity has grown dramatically, leading the clinic to completely renovate their building and expand services at the Phetkasem Road office as well as assume operational management of Be Well’s dental clinic at the Belvida location.

The office spans over all four floors, although there is only limited parking out front.

The new spaces on Phetkasem Road spread out over four floors, with waiting, treatment, X-ray, and support services areas. There is an elevator/lift. The equipment is modern, and the staff is friendly, professional, and speaks excellent English. The new waiting area even has a juice and a coffee machine, a blood pressure machine, and a super interesting automated cashier which accepts the preferred method of cash payment and gives change, very similar to how I paid for groceries at Cole’s and Woolies during my recent trip to Australia.

Nana is super popular, so remember to book your appointment well in advance.

As for me, I had a cleaning for 1,000 baht and a set of bite wing X-rays for another 400 baht, for a total of 1,400 baht (or less than GBP 35). My appointment started right on time at 2:00 pm and I was back in my condo by 2:45. And, as mentioned, no cavities! But remember that because the clinic is so well known, it is essential to book at least two months in advance, even during the low season. Cheers.
