Welcome to Evermuse Summer School!
I’m going to start with something a little emotional. When I looked at my Substack overview page today, I knew I had to write this. One year ago today, I had only 2 subscribers here. And now we are a community of more than 17,700 people.
So, I just want to say thank you for being here and for making me feel like I achieved my childhood dream. Doing all of this without using another social media platform or sharing my personal life online sounded impossible to me a year ago. But it became real, because I tried and believed there is always room to grow.
And the first step was very simple. I simply started trying.
Now, I want us to try together.
I often introduce a skill, share some ideas, and then move on to the next topic. And while there are so many things we need to learn about building a beautiful life, some lessons deserve more than just one article.
So I thought this month we could spend a little more time on my most-read Substack essay, “How to Be Someone Who Actually Does Things.”
Because simply reading about something isn’t always enough. Real change happens when we take action.
So I created this little Summer School. It’s going to last three weeks and include cute workbooks.
I’m not talking about the kind of school where you secretly hope the classes get canceled so you can spend the day at the mall with your friends... I’m talking about the kind of school you actually look forward to going to because you leave feeling inspired, understood, and excited to try something new. (At least, that’s the goal!)
Here’s what I have in mind.
Throughout the first three weeks of August, we will focus on “How to Be Someone Who Actually Does Things” but each week will focus on a different step.
Here’s the curriculum:
Monday: How to Start Chasing Your Dreams Before You Feel Ready
Wednesday: The Finding Your Why Workbook
Monday: How to Start Messy
Wednesday: The Imperfect Workbook
Monday: How to Stay Consistent
Wednesday: The Consistency Reset Workbook
So, if you've ever felt like you know what to do but can't seem to actually do it, I hope these next three weeks help.
This Summer School will be exclusively for paid subscribers and will last for three weeks. But during this time, the free Friday essays will continue as usual.
If you’ve been thinking about becoming a paid subscriber, I think this is the perfect time.
And since this is the first time I’m trying something like this, I would absolutely love to hear your thoughts, ideas, and suggestions along the way. 💛
