New stuff: An easy-lift upgrade to Micro-digital product prompt ✅
This newsletter is likely to be full of spelling and grammar mistakes — it’s 9:43 pm here, but I’ve built 2 new micro-digital products today (well, nearly).
Something weird happens when you set yourself a challenge that feels within your grasp but just at your fingertips… if you can get past the first 9 days, you feel like there’s no stopping you.
When you start pushing yourself every day, you start to understand what you are capable of and things get REALLY interesting (and tiring but in a good way).
You know what happens when you force yourself to build a thing in a day — you have to learn. You have to learn because, if you don’t, you know the line gets drawn in the sand by midnight and then onto the next.
It’s kind of liberating.
Liberating to know that 1) you get to start something new tomorrow, so it’s no big deal if this doesn’t work 2) that you have to get a move on because you’ve got maybe 3 hours today to make this work, so you literally can’t waste any time.
And because you’re repeating all the stuff you have to do each time —sales pages, pricing, positioning, you start to get better and better…
The good news is $27 came in since yesterday, which means the P&L is looking better, well, all for a minute, until I spend more on the next business idea (a domain and hosting totalling £65 (yikes).
Leads are coming in for Smart Growth Labs, which means building the website fully out (and making the audits purchasable through the website), trying to fit more pitching to Shopify store owners over the next week (my aim is to do 10 more this week, but let’s see if that’s doable). This will take some work but early signals show it may well be worth it.
I’ve had a big idea about lead generation for small UK service businesses. I’m starting to shift focus to service-based businesses because 1. they are underserved 2. they are businesses so typically have more money 3. if I can save or make them money, we both win.
